Katie Almon
Competition Faculty
Specialties: Ready Set Dance, Tap & Contemporary
Katie’s love for dance began at age 5 when she took her first class at Isabelle’s. As a student, she was a dedicated member of the competition team, assistant teacher, and STRIDE volunteer. While pursing her undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Katie was a student leader and choreographer for UAlbany Dance Council. She then earned her Master’s in Business Analytics from RPI and now works as a healthcare data analyst. Whether she’s analyzing trends to improve healthcare outcomes or guiding students to unlock the benefits of movement, Katie is dedicated to helping others improve their well-being. In the studio, she cultivates an environment where dancers can build strength, confidence, and find joy in movement - empowering them to thrive on and off the dance floor!
