Extended Student Absences:  No refunds will be given for extended absences due to family vacations, sports, musicals, or other voluntary activities. Please contact your teacher in advance as soon as you know of an expected extended absence. Participation in class or recital after an extended absence will be determined in collaboration with the teacher and Studio Director. Extended absences with no notice may result in removal from the recital piece or adjustment of class level.

Tuition will not be suspended for an extended absence. Students taking extended absences must still pay full tuition to keep their spot in their selected classes or they may choose to drop the class for the rest of the season. Make-up classes for the extended absences may be allowed at the teacher’s discretion depending on appropriate level available classes.

Winter Weather & Studio Closings:  The dance year is based on 32 classes. Our calendar provides for more than 32 dance classes in the event of a snow day or power outage. Should the total number of snow days go beyond our extra classes, a make-up class will be offered during February Break or April Break.

Please note that while we do follow some of our local school districts’ Winter / Spring Break schedules, we do not close for every holiday that the school districts observe.

Health & Safety: If your dancer is feeling unwell or showing signs of a contagious illness, please keep them home to protect the health of other dancers and staff. Any injury that may prevent full participation in class must be disclosed to the office staff or instructor prior to the start of class. This allows us to ensure appropriate accommodations and maintain a safe environment for all students.

Class Cancellation:  We reserve the right to change or cancel classes due to low enrollment. If a class is cancelled a refund will be granted or alternate class suggested.
