Samantha Albergo

Specialties: Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro

Beginning dancing at the age of 2 and competing since age 6 (High Performance Dance Center), Samantha has a background in various styles including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, hip hop, musical theatre and acrobatics. Samantha began teaching at Tap to Toe Studio of Dance while attending college at SUNY Potsdam majoring in sociology with a minor in business. While teaching in Potsdam, Samantha also was given the opportunity to choreograph Potsdam High School's spring production of "Crazy for You." Samantha frequently attends workshops to become better at what she does and has most recently officially become Module 1-certified through Acrobatic Arts and plans to continue acro training in the future. When not at the studio, Samantha is working towards a masters in Elementary Education at Western Governors University. Samantha has a love and passion for teaching dance and working with children and looks forward to a wonderful year here at ISD!
