Teresa Memole
Specialties: Modern, Contemporary
Teresa began dancing at ISD when she was 6 years old, following after her sisters and brother, where she spent many hours as a student, competition team member, and assistant teacher. She graduated from SUNY Oneonta, Class of 2018, where she completed a dance minor on top of a degree in Computer Art. She enjoys exercising her creativity and inspiration by taking a variety of classes when she can, including ballroom, English country dance, k-pop choreography, and other cultural and historical styles, on top of her main focus of modern, contemporary, and ballet. She hopes to instill in her students a sense of self confidence, creativity, and fun. This is Miss Teresa’s 7th year teaching at her beloved second home!
How would you describe your teaching style?
“Key words I would use to describe my teaching style would definitely be “collaborative”, “encouraging”, and “creative”. I like asking for kids input on dances, even with my 6 year olds, because sometimes what a kid comes up with spur of the moment is actually really good!”
